About

Together, we can explore pathways to new possibilities.

I am passionate about working alongside children, teens, and young adults who are navigating difficult circumstances and want to break free of challenging patterns. I provide a safe, nonjudgemental atmosphere where my clients regulate, connect, identify their values, learn how to nurture meaningful relationships, and determine how to pursue their goals. I also offer family sessions and parent coaching in support of the client. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State with decades of experience working with children, teens, and young adults in a variety of settings. My professional background includes teaching youth and young adults how to sail in the Bahamas, creating alternative math curriculum for teens struggling in traditional classroom settings, providing an in-home childcare for toddlers, and developing a gardening curriculum for Grades 1-8 in a private school setting. I received my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University New England in 2023 with a specialized focus on integrating trauma informed perspectives and approaches. I recently started my own private practice after working as a Child and Family Therapist for Catholic Community Services (CCS). During my time with CCS, I gained extensive experience supporting children, youth, and their families as they navigated complex presentations and needs due to traumatic life circumstances. In addition to my private practice, I am a member of the MiddlePath Counseling Team, where we offer DBT as intensive outpatient therapy for people who are struggling to manage their emotions, stress, relationships, and impulsive behaviors. In my free time, I may often be found digging in my garden, exploring mountains, swimming and paddling under an open sky, or making mostly useful things with my hands. I have two daughters and a handful of animals. I usually have my nose in a good book at some point in the day or night.
